The Chelegance KC4 is a 4-band HF vertical antenna designed for base station and semi-fixed amateur radio use on 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m. Once properly installed and tuned, it supports convenient multi-band operation through a single feedline, allowing you to change bands directly from the radio without reconfiguring the antenna system.
Its 3/8-wavelength top-loaded vertical design improves radiation efficiency while keeping the antenna relatively compact and self-supporting. Unlike many conventional HF verticals, the KC4 uses its own counterpoise structure, so a traditional buried radial field is not required. This helps simplify installation while still delivering a true multi-band HF vertical solution for long-term outdoor use.
Standing about 7.8 m tall and built from durable aluminum materials, the KC4 is intended for reliable outdoor operation. As with most resonant HF verticals, final tuning and small trimming adjustments may still be required depending on installation height, surroundings, and local operating conditions.
